OneChild is a global non-profit that serves children in poverty. Within this context, OneChild’s marketing and content are focused on both major donors and potential donors. The design integrated into the success of their aid work is clean and pointed.
With an outdated system of supplying their donors with content via print magazines, OneChild tasked me with bringing their newsletter to the digital realm. As it was not just copying and pasting the existing content, I had to creatively integrate the copy with imagery and layout that represented OneChild’s important cause.
In placing authentic imagery surrounding their work first, the placement of the copy only supported the design. This way, the donors who wanted to know more were able to easily find information, and those who wanted to see where their money went were not distracted by long blocks of text. Knowing the target audience was the key to the successful design and development of this project.
