I worked as an iOS engineer in the Virgin Money team to update and improve the iOS app.
Main contributions included:
Update the Move Money feature
This was to add new functionality and rewrite legacy code and tech debt
Modularise codebase
Together with 20+ iOS engineers from multiple teams we came up with a plan to modularise the large monolithic codebase into Swift packages
This improved the maintainability of the code and allowed for faster more reliable feature development
Working in a regulated banking environment required a high level of code quality, testing, and documentation.
