Driving Intrigue for a New Novel Through Scalable Video Content
When New York Times bestselling author Craig Hickman needed a cost-effective way to promote his new novel, Collapse of the Secret Dominion, he came to me for a solution. His goal was clear: spark curiosity and test different intrigue-driven questions to see what resonated most with his audience on social media.
Craig provided sample materials he liked, along with a clear use case. Together, we iterated on design and messaging, fine-tuning the look and feel until we found a style that hit the right balance of mystery and polish.
Once the final design was approved, we scaled it up to 13 unique videos, each ending with a different provocative question to encourage engagement and drive interest in the book.
