Learn with Benisco

Learn with Benisco is a private learning hub for managing lesson resources, progress, homework, vocabulary and client-specific learning materials.

It is designed as a calm client portal and workflow system rather than a public marketplace. The product supports a tutoring business by giving both tutor and students a structured, private space to manage the learning relationship.

Most tutoring tools are either too complex (built for schools) or too simple (just a calendar). Independent tutors need something in between: a private space where they can organise resources, track progress, assign homework and communicate with clients without the noise of a public platform.

Client portal Each student has their own private space with access to their resources, homework, vocabulary lists and progress notes. Clean, calm, focused.

Resource library A structured library where the tutor can organise and share lesson materials, reference documents and learning resources by topic, level or student.

Tutor/admin workflow Backend tools for the tutor to manage students, assign work, track completion and maintain oversight of all active learning relationships.

Progress tracking A simple, visual system for tracking what's been covered, what's outstanding and how each student is progressing over time.

Homework and vocabulary systems Dedicated spaces for assigning homework, tracking completion, and building vocabulary lists that students can review independently.

Calm UX The interface is deliberately minimal. No gamification, no social features, no unnecessary notifications. The design supports focused learning and professional service delivery.

This project is a good example of building for a service business rather than a consumer product. The tutor is the operator, the students are the clients, and the product needs to make both sides feel organised and supported. Every feature was evaluated against: does this help the tutor deliver a better service, or does this help the student learn more effectively?
