The Client

Project SEARCH is an international training program that empowers thousands of teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their model involves extensive skills training, career exploration, innovative adaptations, long-term job coaching, and continuous feedback to help students find success in competitive, integrated employment and lead happy, more fulfilling lives.

The Project

My client, Project SEARCH, needed a written proposal to procure program funding. The purpose of the piece was to combine education, research, and compelling storytelling to both inform the potential donor and hopefully inspire a major gift to support the development of new and ongoing programming.

The Impact

My written proposal for the Project Search Foundation resulted in a $5 million endowed gift fund from a potential donor. This allowed Project SEARCH to continue and expand programs, helping more young people with disabilities in communities throughout the country.
