Shift Happens is a small moving company in Brooklyn where the owner was spending too much time turning basic inquiries into actual bookings.
Every lead meant another round of questions: apartment size, furniture, crew size, route, availability, estimate, payment, confirmation. A lot of manual work before the move even made it onto the calendar.
So I built a self-serve booking flow that handles that process for them.
Customers define the move, add their items, choose the crew, enter the route, pick an available time, review the estimate, and confirm the booking without waiting for the owner to reply.
I wanted the experience to feel whimsical and fun, so the flow uses playful micro-interactions and a little personality instead of feeling like another long intake form.
For the owner, the result is simple: fewer repetitive questions, less estimating, less scheduling back-and-forth, and fewer leads that require manual follow-up.
