NomadsLand is an online niche ecommerce store specialising in the travel industry designing unique, practical and affordable travel items targeting digital nomads. With the popularity of digital nomading, many people have decided to take on the digital nomad lifestyle with more and more people adopting this way of life every year. With the increase of people working whilst travelling to their favourite destinations around the globe, NomadsLand have started manufacturing their own essential travel items specifically tailored toward digital nomads. These items range from backpacks, safety tools, wallets, bottles, luggages etc. That being said, the people at NomadsLand know a thing or two about digital nomading and want to help design and manufacture travel products that will benefit anyone who works whilst travelling the world.

The objective for this project will be to write a product description for their newly released travel backpack. My aim will be to craft a description detailing its features and characteristics whilst also incorporating copy. I will also be doing competitor research to pinpoint gaps in the market to complement my copy on a deeper level.

During this step I am doing competitor research, website analysis and asking the brand a bunch of questions relating to their business, product and company vision. 

Now I am starting to structure my description and adding in ideas. I also have to make sure that whatever ideas I have that might eventually be implemented must be succinct and to the point as these product descriptions are not that long in terms of word length. Additionally, I am also coming up with my attention grabbing headline during this stage which I will string together during my writing process.

I will now begin writing my description from start to finish. Incorporating the ideas that I had noted previously or implementing new ideas that arise during the writing process.

Once finished with the description I went ahead and started editing and proofreading for any errors like misspelt words or ideas that don’t flow smoothly or feel choppy. Additionally, I made sure that I also incorporated my clients keywords(if given to me) in a cohesive and compatible way.
