The goal of this project was to create realistic and intimate sound design to accompany the protagonist’s personal journey, with music that matched the emotional development and complexity of the film.
I achieved this through high-quality foley recordings, precise sound design, and careful mixing. Extensive communication with the director allowed me to craft a fitting original score.
The film has been showcased in over a dozen festivals, winning awards such as Best Documentary Short Film at the Pennine Film Festival and a Special Mention at the 3rd Matiff Matera International Film Festival
“How to shoot flowers” is a personal essay film, where artistic creation and expression, such as the stop-motion animation or the liberating dance, become the medium to overcome a difficult time.
