The story that makes the impossible fundable

Astroteq.ai forecasts major earthquakes up to twenty-five days before they strike.
Most people file that under impossible the moment they hear it. Institutional buyers are no different, except their skepticism comes with a budget attached and a reputation on the line.
The technology alone was never going to win those rooms. The story had to. That is what they brought us in to build.

What was actually at stake

Astroteq isn't selling a website. They're selling belief to the people who control capital, policy, and risk.
The science behind the product is genuinely hard. The system reads early signals from solar activity and cosmic ray flux, tracks high-energy particles through a global muon detector network, then correlates that against crustal stress and satellite data to pinpoint where and when a major quake is likely. Five independent layers, fused into a single forecast.
Remarkable in a lab. A liability in a pitch. A buyer who loses the thread doesn't fund you, insure against you, or stake their name on your numbers. On a page like this, confusion doesn't shave a few points off conversion. It costs the institutional deal.

Why design came second

The default move is to open Figma and start producing screens. We held off.
When credibility is the entire product, going straight to visuals is how a budget gets spent without the room ever being won. The first work was structural. What has to be established, and in what sequence, for a skeptical institution to conclude this is real and operational rather than theoretical.
Every design decision followed from that answer.

Turning complexity into a case

We rebuilt the page as a single narrative engineered to move a reader from doubt to conviction.
It opens on the claim, then puts hard proof in front of the reader before skepticism has time to harden. From there it moves through context, the specific outcomes each audience cares about, the science itself, independent validation, and only then the ask.
Each section carries one responsibility: reduce perceived risk, raise confidence. By the time an investor reaches the call to action, the argument has already been made. That is the difference between a page people scroll and a page that closes a round.

A first impression that reads as intelligence

For a deep tech company raising capital and selling into institutions, the hero is not decoration. It is the first credibility check, and it lands in roughly two seconds.
The planet had to carry meaning. We built Astroteq a data-driven Earth, formed from points and wave-like structures rather than a cinematic globe. It reads as signal, detection, and measurement, the same language the product speaks.
Before a single line of copy is read, the buyer has already registered the right thing. Serious technology, not spectacle.

Proof positioned where it changes minds

Astroteq's track record is their strongest asset. A 90% detection rate on the largest earthquakes. Forecasts arriving weeks ahead of the event. Validation from institutions like Tokio Marine.
The narrative places those numbers at the precise moment a doubtful reader is asking whether the system actually works. Proof timed to meet doubt as it forms is what turns an impressive claim into a fundable one.

Credibility that survives the phone

Decision-makers open links on their phones, between meetings, rarely giving full attention. An experience that breaks there is a deal that quietly disappears.
The mobile version was designed to protect the story rather than compress it. Same sequence, same proof, same path to the ask, tuned to stay fast and legible on a small screen. The work holds its authority wherever the decision actually gets made.

What Astroteq walked away with

Not a folder of deliverables. A foundation for their next raise.
A narrative the team can present with confidence. An opening that signals real technology before a word is spoken. A proof sequence built to convert the rooms that determine where the company goes next.
The hardest part of selling something the market calls impossible, resolved before a single final pixel was produced.
When the technology is this ambitious, the story has to carry as much weight as the science. Getting that right is usually what gets a company funded.
Klimt Creations partners with deep tech, fintech, and life sciences companies on the brand and web work that has to carry real weight. Selectively, and with discretion.
