I was consulted by a teacher who needed a reliable way to generate custom pumpkin carving stencils based on her students' creative ideas. My initial research revealed a critical gap: existing Generative AI models consistently failed to produce coherent, clean stencils, especially when attempting to convert a starting reference image.
Recognizing this technical challenge, I engineered a specialized solution. I developed a LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) model, utilizing the Kohya_SS training repository and carefully tuned parameters. This required meticulously curating a 50-image dataset where each image was paired with a detailed, prescriptive prompt. After rigorous testing in ComfyUI, the resulting model could instantly generate high-quality stencils for any prompt, exceeding the client's expectations and providing the teacher and her students with an abundance of creative options.

Creating a high-performance LoRA model demands precision and deep technical knowledge. I handled the entire development lifecycle for this specialized stencil generator. This involved expert prompt engineering for every dataset image to ensure consistency and model focus, followed by an iterative training and testing loop. This hands-on, detail-oriented approach guarantees the final model is not just functional, but highly accurate and capable of generating the exact output desired.
