Project: Calligraphy Workshop with Pentel College Community

Setting the Stage

During the pandemic, I partnered with Pentel to conduct a virtual calligraphy workshop for the college community in conjunction with the launch of their new flexible brush pen. The goal was to engage students creatively while promoting the new product and providing a platform for skill development.

Objective & Challenges

The primary objective was to introduce students to calligraphy using Pentel’s new brush pen, offering a fun and interactive experience. A challenge was ensuring engagement in a virtual format while addressing students’ varying skill levels and interests in calligraphy.

Approach & Execution

To achieve this, I:

Developed a comprehensive calligraphy tutorial that demonstrated basic techniques and creative applications of the flexible brush pen.

Facilitated an interactive Q&A session where students could ask questions about calligraphy techniques and tools.

Organized a giveaway of Pentel products to encourage participation and excitement among students.
