Wallace, Jordan, Ratliff & Brandt, LLC (Wallace Jordan) is an established Alabama full-service law firm founded in 1987. The strategic rebrand aimed to modernize the firm’s external identity and messaging to clearly position it as a notable mid-sized legal leader.
The Challenge
The firm needed to synthesize its decades of comprehensive experience and multiple practice areas into a unified, accessible brand that balanced historical stability with a modern, client-centric approach.
Strategy and Execution
The rebrand focused on streamlining the visual and verbal identity to communicate core values and broad service capabilities.
Core Messaging: The new, concise tagline "For Our Clients. For Alabama." anchors the firm regionally. Core values—integrity, energy, and care—guide representation, built upon a culture of "Leadership and Excellence."
Visual Identity & Design: A simple, clean new logo was introduced to symbolize a sense of protection and trust for clients. The accompanying color scheme uses stable, rich, and trustworthy tones to project confidence and gravitas across all brand materials.
Digital Presence: The updated website clearly showcases over 20 distinct practice areas, emphasizing the firm’s full-service breadth. The "Why Wallace Jordan?" section articulates key differentiators: Fair Fees, Careful Planning, Resourcefulness, and Supportive Counsel.
Impact and Result
The rebrand successfully created a contemporary, client-focused identity. By adopting a professional aesthetic and a clear, value-driven message, Wallace Jordan effectively reinforced its market position as a reliable, resourceful, and leading mid-sized law firm in the region.
