Introduction:

In today's digital age, online shopping has become increasingly popular, allowing consumers to explore a vast array of products and services. However, the prevalence of fraudulent or dubious vendors has left many customers skeptical and cautious when engaging in online transactions. To address this challenge, we designed and built ScamTrust, a solution that aims to restore faith and credibility by providing a safe environment for customers to interact with authentic vendors. Through ScamTrust, businesses can establish trust, foster transparent transactions, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Problem Statement:

In the world of e-commerce, customers often face the distressing issue of encountering unreliable vendors, which can lead to skepticism and doubt. Fraudulent activities, misleading product descriptions, and poor customer service experiences have left a trail of disappointment among consumers. As a result, customers find it increasingly difficult to differentiate trustworthy businesses from dubious ones, hindering their willingness to engage in online transactions.

How might we design an app that will allow users to trust and see the credibility of vendors?

Solution:

ScamTrust steps in as a game-changer, revolutionizing the way customers interact with vendors by offering a secure and trustworthy platform. The goal is to create an environment where businesses can showcase their credibility, assuring customers that their transactions will be transparent, reliable, and free from fraudulent activities. ScamTrust acts as a bridge, fostering a positive and trustworthy relationship between customers and vendors.

My role

For this project, I worked with brand designers, product designers, and product managers, but I independently designed over 180 screens, including; mobile app screens, web app screens, and super admin screens. I also carried out feature research and worked on prototyping. I prioritized the features for ScamTrust and then designed low-fi wireframes which I tested.
