Mekorma needed a new, modern website

Mekorma, a leading provider of automation software for Microsoft Dynamics GP, faced challenges with an outdated website that hampered internal processes and trust among potential clients. Simultaneously rebranding with a marketing agency, the company aimed to refresh its brand identity and streamline the website for a better user experience.

Losing trust and added difficulty

The existing website was challenging to navigate, causing internal frustrations and projecting an untrustworthy image to potential clients. Content management proved cumbersome, requiring assistance from developers for even minor updates. Clients, in particular, had difficulty finding the appropriate downloadable resources and had to rely on external URLs to access necessary information. In light of these challenges, Mekorma recognized the urgent need for a new website that not only aligned with its rebranding efforts but also addressed these issues both internally and externally.

Adding ease of work internally

Collaborating with the rebranding agency, our UX/UI team embarked on a journey to create a modern, user-friendly website. The focus extended beyond aesthetics, addressing internal ease of use and client trust issues. The project aimed to provide a cohesive platform that reflected the new brand identity while offering a simplified and efficient backend for content managers.

Consolidating resource library

To improve the user experience, we conducted thorough research and created personas, identifying the needs of both end users and internal stakeholders. Downloadable resources, such as user manuals and guides, were consolidated into a single source with a user-friendly form for easy access. On the internal side, a flexible backend system featuring reusable "blocks" was developed, empowering content managers to create and update pages independently.

Efforts increase leads among potential clients

Different dashboards were implemented for various user roles, streamlining access to relevant information. The rebranding efforts and website updates instilled trust among clients, resulting in increased leads and conversions. The integration of all downloads and user guides onto the website simplified the user journey, making it more accessible and less time-consuming. Accessibility considerations were also incorporated, addressing color contrast issues and promoting descriptive text links.

Successful website rebrand launch

Mekorma successfully launched its rebranded website, offering an improved user experience for both internal and external users. The new backend system empowered content managers, reducing dependency on developers and saving time and costs. The streamlined download process and accessible user guides enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty. The revamped website became a powerful tool for attracting new clients, showcasing Mekorma as a modern and trustworthy leader in automation software.
