slowly integrating the new branding

In our partnership with KIND, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of unaccompanied children, we embarked on a transformative journey to redesign their homepage. This project aimed not only to address immediate pain points but also to align the user experience with KIND's evolving branding strategy. Keeping in mind that they would be doing a full website redesign and overhaul in the future, we laid the foundation for a seamless transition into a larger website redesign effort, ensuring KIND remains at the forefront of digital presence and user engagement.

crand integration & user-centric design

Our project began by strategically incorporating KIND's refreshed branding while embracing user-centered design principles
Incremental Brand EvolutionWe artfully infused new branding elements into the existing framework, striking a balance between the familiar and the novel.
Engaging Visuals‍We optimized the integration of images and text to create a visually captivating experience that resonates with KIND's audience.
Cohesive Identity‍A harmonized color palette, typography, and design elements ensured a modern and consistent visual identity.
Universal Access‍Accessibility recommendations were implemented to guarantee an inclusive experience for all users.

enhanced user experience

Our approach focused on addressing key pain points to elevate the overall user experience:
Mission Communication The homepage was revamped to instantly communicate KIND's mission and global impact, fostering immediate engagement.
Innovative Content Display Through alternative content layouts, we minimized scrolling by placing related content side by side, enhancing readability.
Call-to-Action Transformation Clear and descriptive calls-to-action replaced vague buttons, promoting user understanding and interaction.

guiding user pathways and goal achievement

Our redesign strategy guided users to relevant content and motivated meaningful actions:
Strategic Pathways The homepage's organization directed users toward essential sections, catering to diverse target audiences and providing clear direction.
Supporting Information‍ Opportunities to link related content were identified, empowering users with valuable information aligned with their engagement paths.
Global Initiatives‍ By spotlighting KIND's worldwide programs, we highlighted the organization's impact beyond specific countries.

rollout and future prospects

The project followed a two-phase approach, setting the groundwork for future improvements. In Phase 1, the creation of high-level personas informed design decisions, resulting in a revamped homepage layout that seamlessly incorporated new branding and accessibility standards. A unified visual identity was established, highlighting inclusivity in design, while user-centric navigation and content organization were seamlessly integrated. The iterative process fostered collaboration, with ongoing feedback from KIND expertly incorporated during design presentations. Phase 2 introduces a realm of exciting opportunities, encompassing the augmentation of branding consistency and impact, the fine-tuning of accessibility features and layout, and the exploration of advanced design strategies

conclusion

Our collaborative journey with KIND resulted in a homepage that seamlessly blended branding, user experience, and communication objectives. By addressing pain points, simplifying navigation, and promoting clear user pathways, we laid a strong foundation for KIND's digital evolution. This project not only marked an instrumental step towards enhancing KIND's online presence but also served as a strategic stepping stone for future design iterations and broader website enhancements.
