Lolo Mercadito is a small business in San Antonio, Texas that sells a large variety of artisan made products from Mexico. I began working as a Social Media Intern where I was in charge of content creation and managing all their social media platforms. After almost a year, I was promoted to Social Media Manager where I designed developed and implemented email marketing campaigns, tracked and analyzed reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.

When I first started working for them they already had an active Instagram and Facebook page with a strong amount of followers. The issue was they didn't have someone designated to social media and the owners were the ones in charge of it. My job here was to create a well strategized marketing plan that focused on how we can increase brand awareness, create creative content, and reporting weekly metrics.
