End-to-End Product Sourcing & Packaging Development

For more than 25 years, I have worked hands-on in product development, packaging, sourcing, manufacturing and commercialization, with a major part of that experience developed through International Print. My role went far beyond printing. We worked as a full-service product and packaging partner, helping clients take ideas from early concept through sourcing, production, packaging, assembly, fulfillment and ultimately to a finished product ready for retail or distribution.
My experience includes domestic and overseas sourcing, custom manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, printing, labels, decorating, finishing, co-packing, assembly, kitting, fulfillment and logistics. I have worked with bottles, jars, tubes, pouches, folding cartons, rigid boxes, corrugated packaging, displays, inserts, labels, sleeves, promotional products and a wide range of custom components and retail packaging formats.
A large part of my work involved coordinating complex programs with multiple vendors and production stages. A project could require one manufacturer for the product or container, another for closures or accessories, another for labels or cartons, another for filling or packing, and another for final assembly or fulfillment. I managed those moving parts so the client had one point of contact instead of having to coordinate an entire supply chain themselves.
I was involved in supplier selection, quoting, samples, prototypes, materials, specifications, minimum order quantities, production methods, freight, packaging configurations and vendor negotiations. I also worked through the problems that inevitably come up during production — timing, quality, fit, print issues, packaging changes, vendor coordination and cost pressures — and kept projects moving toward completion.
My work also included cost engineering and commercialization. A product may look great on a computer screen, but it still has to be manufacturable, scalable, affordable, shippable and appropriate for the market it is entering. I regularly evaluated materials, production methods, domestic versus overseas sourcing, quantities, freight, packaging construction and finishing options to find the best balance between appearance, function, cost and production reality.
That same experience extended into complete branded programs. We could help a client develop the physical product, source the components, create the packaging, coordinate printing and decorating, manage filling or assembly where needed, produce displays and promotional materials, and handle the final packing and fulfillment. The objective was not simply to manufacture one piece — it was to help create the entire finished product presentation and get it ready to sell.
Over the years I have worked on projects across beauty, personal care, wellness, food, consumer products, retail, promotional programs and other industries, including clients that needed everything from a simple package redesign to a completely new product and packaging program built from the ground up.
This experience gave me a very practical understanding of how products actually get made. I can look at a concept from both the creative and operational sides — what should it look like, how should it be made, who should make it, what should it cost, how should it be packaged, how does it get assembled and shipped, and what has to happen to make it commercially viable.
That is the value I bring to product and packaging projects: I know how to take an idea, build the sourcing and production structure behind it, manage the vendors and packaging, solve the problems along the way and turn it into a finished, market-ready product.
