Overview

Bambi Baby is a premium baby and nursery retail brand offering a curated selection of high-end strollers, car seats, cribs, nursery furniture, bedding, and baby gear from top brands like UPPAbaby, Bugaboo, Nuna, and Maxi-Cosi. The brand positions itself as a trusted one-stop destination for new and expectant parents who want quality, safety, and style — summed up perfectly in their brand message: "Parenthood, Understood." The store serves multiple physical locations across the US while also running a robust e-commerce operation online.

The Goal

Design and build a fully functional, visually polished Shopify store that could handle a large multi-brand product catalogue, deliver a premium shopping experience, and support key retail features like a gift registry, loyalty rewards program, and personalized service — all while being intuitive enough for parents to navigate quickly and confidently.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was managing complexity at scale. Bambi Baby carries hundreds of products across multiple categories — strollers, car seats, cribs, nursery furniture, bedding, and baby gear — all from different premium brands, each with their own variants, price points, and product specifications. Organizing this into a clean, browsable storefront without overwhelming visitors required a very deliberate information architecture and navigation structure.

A second challenge was replicating the warmth and trust of an in-store experience online. Baby product buyers are cautious and research-heavy — the store needed to communicate safety, expertise, and care at every touchpoint, not just sell products.

Solution / Outcome

The store was built with a clean, family-friendly aesthetic — soft tones, clear typography, and rich lifestyle imagery that speaks directly to new parents. Key features delivered included:
