Ashbury Legal is a San Francisco-based law firm dedicated to helping businesses navigate complex legal matters with ease. Founded in 2016, they specialize in areas like digital assets, entity formation, and mergers, all while keeping a client-focused, practical approach at the heart of their work.
Based on our discussions and insights from the discovery phase, we dove into crafting the wireframe for Ashbury’s new crypto legal ledger. Using Casey’s vision as our guide, we mapped out the website’s structure, focusing on user flow and key functionalities. We presented the wireframe to the Ashbury team and worked through several rounds of feedback, refining each iteration until Casey and his team were satisfied with the initial design
Once the wireframe was finalized, we moved on to building the website structure in Notion. Afterward, we used Super to stylize certain Notion blocks to match our vision from Figma. The final result was a seamless, professional website that captured the Ashbury’s brand and vision.
Beyond building a website, we also developed a custom Notion dashboard tailored to Ashbury’s needs, complete with automation to streamline their case management process. For security and ease, Casey requested two separate case databases: one internal for the team and one external for the website. This setup allowed the Ashbury team to build cases internally and, once completed, seamlessly push them to the public-facing database.
To achieve this, we used Make (formerly Integromat) to automate the transfer process between the internal and external databases. With just a few clicks, the Ashbury team can now update cases internally.
In addition to building the website and custom dashboard, we set up a admin portal within Ashbury’s Notion workspace. This portal serves as a comprehensive resource for the team, containing detailed documentation on using Super and Notion effectively. To ensure the team could manage and update the website independently, we conducted several training sessions, walking them through the update process step-by-step. These sessions were recorded and added to the admin portal, providing the team with easy access to revisit the tutorials when needed.
With everything in place, the Ashbury team was excited to share their new Crypto Legal Ledger, where users can effortlessly access critical updates on cryptocurrency law and regulation.
