Challenge
The Ecorps team approached me with a Webflow template they had purchased from the marketplace and a clear site structure in mind. With around 15–16 pages planned, the goal was to turn this template into a complete, customized marketing website that aligned with their brand and was easy for their team to manage moving forward.
Approach
To ensure a smooth and collaborative process, we followed a structured design and development workflow:
Page design in Figma, aligned with template components
Before jumping into Webflow, I used the template’s components to design all pages in Figma. This allowed the Ecorps marketing team to review and approve layouts before development began—ensuring alignment on content and structure while keeping the process efficient.
Webflow development based on approved designs
Once designs were approved, I built each page in Webflow using the original template as a base. I carefully adapted and expanded components where needed to accommodate the content and visual preferences of the team, resulting in a consistent and fully functional 15-page website.
For visual storytelling, I sourced high-quality images from Lummi.ai that matched the brand’s tone. This helped elevate the look and feel of the site while staying within budget and licensing constraints.
Client education with custom how-to videos
Since the Ecorps team was new to Webflow, I created short instructional videos showing them how to manage and update the site. This empowered them to take ownership of content updates without needing technical support for every change.
Collaborative workflow in Trello
To maintain clarity and transparency throughout the project, we used a shared Trello board. This gave everyone visibility into tasks, priorities, and progress—which helped the project run smoothly and stay on track.
Outcome
The result was a professional, fully functional website built on Webflow—tailored to Ecorps' needs and easily manageable by their internal team. The structured workflow, hands-on collaboration, and client education helped ensure not only a successful launch but long-term independence and confidence using their new platform.
