Challenge
Sonoma Valley Home Watch is a family-owned, NHWA-accredited home‑watch service in Sonoma Valley, California. They offer both interior and exterior inspections, storm‑response checks, access coordination, concierge services, and detailed geo‑tagged reporting—catering to second‑home owners who need reliable oversight when away. Their goals included:
Presenting a professional, trustworthy service brand online
Showcasing their customized inspection & concierge services clearly
Highlighting accreditation, community involvement, and the owner’s expertise as a licensed broker-owner
Their existing online presence was minimal and lacked structured service pages, streamlined navigation, or a modern visual identity.
Approach
Discovery & Scope Definition
The client reached out via email and described their services and goals. I explained what I could deliver, and we agreed to work through Contra.
We conducted an initial scoping conversation: I asked about the key service categories (interior/exterior inspections, seasonal inspections, access services, concierge) and special needs like reporting and accreditation emphasis.
Sitemap & Content Planning
Together, we defined the sitemap: Home, Services, Inspections, Services, About Us, Contact. We outlined what content each page would include — text descriptions, checklists, visuals, client testimonials, accreditation badges, and contact forms.
Figma Design
I created wireframes in Figma for desktop and mobile, focusing on clear navigation, service feature sections, accreditation badges (NHWA), owner bio, and testimonial placement. After feedback loops, I refined visual styling—consistent typography, a clean layout with visual “inspection checklist” motifs, and strong calls-to-action.
Webflow Development
Using Webflow with the Client‑First CMS framework, I built the site with clean, modular components for maintainability. I implemented responsive layouts, visual elements representing service categories, and integrated booking/contact form.Special attention was given to semantic structuring, accessibility, and enabling future updates via Webflow.
Outcome
Modern, trust-building website that clearly communicates Sonoma Home Watch’s services and values: professionalism, reliability, personalized care, and NHWA accreditation.
Intuitive navigation and well-structured service pages make it easy for visitors to understand offerings—Interior & Exterior inspections, post-storm response, concierge access coordination, seasonal maintenance, and concierge prep services.
Aesthetic and functional design aligned with the client’s branding, including strong testimonial and owner‑bio sections that build credibility.
Delivered on time and within scope, the client is now equipped with a polished web presence to attract second‑home owners in Sonoma Valley — with tools and structure to support business growth.
Designed and developed a clean and inviting website in Webflow, creating a professional online presence with a focus on user experience and responsiveness.
