Integration of portfolio website markup on CMS Word Press

There was a task

It is necessary to integrate the portfolio website markup into the CMS Word Press. For this purpose, I decided to use the carbonfields framework, as well as the Elementor plugin. Thus, a minimum number of plugins will be used (only necessary ones). Everything should be done for the convenience and quick setup of the website.

Project Description

As a result, the markup was integrated into Word Press quite easily. The content on the site is flexibly edited using the Elementor plugin and its visual editor. Separate custom widgets for Elementor were developed specifically for this site. Header and Footer are edited using the Theme Options panel developed on carbonfields. To publish examples of work in the "portfolio" section, I created a custom entry type "Works", which also uses Elementor. I decided to make the functionality of reviews simple - I connected the Contact Form 7 plugin to create a form for sending reviews by email. The reviews themselves are published manually by the site administrator. The photo of the author of the review is selected by Email using the Gravatar service.

Security and SEO

To ensure security and search engine optimization, as always, I connected two, in my opinion, the best plugins: All-In-One Security and Yoast SEO.

Results

The result is a simple, reliable, easy-to-use portfolio site.
I did the work in 5 days. Approximate cost is $250.
