OMNIVE is a cross-platform multimedia solution that unifies Movies, Series, Books, and Music under one seamless interface. Designed with both content depth and visual clarity in mind, the platform adapts elegantly across desktop and mobile environments. From immersive hero media sections to curated playlists and an intuitive global search, OMNIVE prioritizes discoverability while maintaining strong aesthetic and functional consistency.

The home screen serves as a rich, scrollable hub showcasing curated content from all media types. Mixed-media carousels like “Mystery Marathon” and “Road Trip Rhythms” offer a unified presentation of books, movies, shows, and songs. The layout ensures easy visual differentiation—wide for Movies & Series, tall for Books, and square for Music—allowing each media type to shine.

The search page is built for quick access and discoverability. With recent searches and smart carousels like “Latest Releases”, “Critically acclaimed”, etc, users can find content across all media types.

Each media type—Movie, Series, Book, and Music—has a detail screen that respects its unique content needs while retaining a shared structural logic. I decided on a two-column layout to showcase a rich thumbnail alongside details and the actions(play, like, etc) remain visible in the vast majority of viewports right when the page loads. From cast and soundtrack sections in films to track listings in albums or bibliographic info in books, the design adapts fluidly while ensuring intuitive hierarchy and actionability.

A persistent mini-player anchors the bottom of the viewport, displaying album art, track title, and a compact play/pause control alongside a progress bar. Its sleek, low-profile design ensures uninterrupted browsing on any page, while providing quick access to song details and easy track changes without leaving the current view.

I designed OMNIVE with a mobile-first mindset, ensuring that core elements—like the sticky bottom mini-player, tab-bar navigation, and scrollable detail sections—adapt gracefully to smaller screens. This approach preserves patterns and legibility, keeping the same immersive quality users enjoy on desktop.
