Script Writer for Explainer Series

I was the co-creator and head writer, researcher, producer, and director for Everything Explained, a pop science explainer series that earned a Webby Award nomination. The series was designed to unveil the mysteries of the world, from the eerie depths of the ocean, showcasing creepy underwater creatures, to the quirky enigma of why we get the hiccups.

The mission was crystal clear: to provide viewers with a perfect blend of education and entertainment, or "edutainment." Each episode was meticulously crafted to inform and captivate, striking a balance between knowledge and fascination. We wanted to engage a younger generation, envisioning our series as the love child of National Geographic and Vice, presenting science in a fresh and compelling way.

Across 70 episodes and 300+ million views we delved into an array of topics, never shying away from the bizarre and the captivating. We took our audience on a journey through the bizarre world of medical mysteries, explored the scientific intricacies behind everyday phenomena, and offered a glimpse into the wonders of the cosmos.
