2Sweet.ai is Indonesia's first AI-powered memorial technology platform that goes beyond traditional digital memorials by enabling families to interact with AI recreations of deceased loved ones, host hybrid memorial events, and preserve family histories through intelligent narrative generation. Currently in seed funding and preparing for pilot demonstrations with prominent funeral homes in Jakarta, 2Sweet.ai represents a pioneering category at the intersection of grief tech, social connection, and AI-powered memory preservation.

Traditional grief support and memorial services remain largely unchanged—static obituaries, physical photo albums, and one-time funeral gatherings that fade from memory. Meanwhile, families increasingly live dispersed across cities and countries, disconnecting from shared rituals and stories that bind generations together. While international markets have seen digital platforms emerge for genealogical research, Indonesia lacked any solution that creates ongoing, interactive relationships with family history through AI technology. 2Sweet.ai addresses this gap as Indonesia's first platform combining AI-powered conversation technology, event coordination tools, and multimedia storytelling into a single ecosystem. The design challenge: creating interfaces that navigate the spectrum from profound grief to joyful celebration, support diverse cultural funeral practices, and make complex AI features feel approachable for users across age groups and technical comfort levels.

We designed the complete end-to-end user journey, interaction flows, and UI/UX system for core features including AI conversation interfaces that learn from family artifacts, event management for funerals and celebrations, family tree documentation with artifact tagging, and AI-generated memorial videos. With funeral homes as distribution partners and a freemium model that unlocks AI conversation features through subscriptions, the platform needed to balance emotional sensitivity with clear monetization touchpoints. Our design system balances reverence and warmth, ensuring the platform honors the emotional weight of loss while celebrating the joy of remembrance.
