Project Overview
Warren Mill is a stunning countryside destination thats oozing with history and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. With access to stunning local walks, a fishing lake, unique self catering accommodation and a petting farm; It's the perfect place to connect with nature, take a break from the hustle of city life and spend quality time with family and friends. The client approached us to design a brand and accompanying website that would put them on the map as the go-to rural escape in Wales.

Project Scope & Objectives
Craft a new visual identity that marks a new beginning – Brand rollout across print & digital spaces. Clearly demonstrating the future intensions of the brand, its USPs and the new product offerings.
Create an engaging and user-friendly digital experience – A visually immersive design that clearly provides vital information and highlights the experiences available.
Enhance credibility – Implementing user-generated reviews, testimonials, and social proof to build trust.
Optimise for mobile and performance – Ensuring smooth navigation, fast loading times, and a responsive layout across all devices.

Case Study

Brand Design

The farm destination is packed with history; what used to be a functioning water mill, is now used as accommodation. Historic pieces of the mill remain at the farm, incorporating these into the brand was important. The resulting brand design was rustic, organic and warm - demonstrating the appeal to those who appreciate caring and connecting with the outdoors & other people.
Colour Palette: A balance of deep (symbolising luxury & organic) and soft tones (conveying friendliness) was chosen to give flexibility and versatility.
Typography: A rounded sans serif was introduced as the headline type to communicate the welcoming and forward-thinking nature of the brand. This, paired with a traditional serif font created a connection to nature and the locations historic past.
Brand Devices: A mill stamp was included in the logo and traditional patterns were used as a separate device as a nod to the heritage of the site. We also created a suite of illustrated icons to represent experiences available.
Photography & Video: Art direction was provided to ensure the tone of photography was right for the brand personality. Showing off the farm in its most authentic form, ensuring bright, natural and rich colour tones.

Website Design

The website was designed with the primary goal of encouraging visitors to book accommodation or time in the sauna. Additionally, it aims to provide detailed information about the site, allowing users to plan ahead and be informed about what to expect. The visual style is classy and organic, reflecting the personality of Warren Mill.
