For over a year I've been running the weekly career newsletter title 3-Minute Read for my career brand, Find Fulfilling Work.

Statistics: 4000 subscribers as of June 2023 and an average open rate of 50%.

🔍 My Approach

I keep the email newsletter short and simple which is easy on both the creator and reader (win win!).

The email newsletter is just one part of the funnel—and I take the whole funnel into account.

This mean that the content where followers find me, to the email signup incentive, to the content in the newsletter, are all consistent.

As you can see below, the weekly newsletter, Find Fulfilling Work: 3 Minute Read averages around a 50% open rate.

If you have a keen eye, you might have noticed that the Free Email Course Sequence, which provides leads a resume template and instruction on improving their resume, has a 75% open rate. 🥳

For the first year I used ConvertKit for the newsletter. Now I have my email list as well as courses, landing pages, and website in Kajabi.
