The Problem:

One of my clients was struggling to source leads for his local-area building inspection business. Upon inspection he was only being listed on directory listings, resulting in his business not appearing in search results. The directories he was listed in also required monthly charge to stand-out from competitors, meaning he was at the mercy of the directories to generate any business or customer communication. Furthermore, his primary business contact was an '@gmail.com' domain, which looked unprofessional compared to others in his field.

The Solution(s):

To combat having to double dip into his budget (or lack there of) and minimise competition, we decided to increase his digital footprint and focus on what his competition was not doing well. Branding & Awareness. This amounted to creating his own branded website and custom domain, optimising for local area SEO keywords, creating new email accounts, and establishing his Google Business Profile for areas he serviced.

The Results:

With basic branding and local area keyword optimisation, the client now has a page ranking on page #1 of Google, above the directory listings where he is also featured. He is also predominantly featured on Google Maps, showcasing his business services, logo and contact details in a more professional manner.
