A studio and a shop
Nicola Harding & Co is an interior design studio in London, with projects across the UK, the US and Europe and a long list of design awards. They also run NiX, their own line of furniture, lighting, fabrics and wallpapers.
Two businesses sharing one space
The studio and the shop lived on the same website. Nobody knows better than an interior designer how that kind of arrangement tends to go. NiX was moving to a site of its own, and the studio needed a new home too, with a portfolio they could keep up to date without asking anyone.
Building the studio's side
I built the new site in Framer from an existing Figma design, working on my own over two weeks.
Most of the work went into the CMS. The portfolio list is fully dynamic, so adding a project in the CMS is all it takes to put it on the site. I also built in banners the team can place anywhere in that list, for a press mention, studio news or anything else worth pointing out between projects.
What the studio has now
A site of its own, separate from the shop, and a portfolio they update themselves whenever a new project is ready to show
