Card Illustrations for Vampire Kitty Game

Auriane Bertil

I had the incredible opportunity to illustrate Vampire Kitty, a unique card game that I worked on for an entire year. My client’s goal was to create a visually captivating game that would resonate with players, and I was tasked with developing the entire identity of the game. This involved crafting 64 distinct illustrations, ensuring that each design was unique and engaging.
The client provided me with 18 brief descriptions outlining the different types of cards, which served as a foundation for my creativity. After that, I was given complete freedom to bring my imaginative vision to life. While managing such a large-scale project was a significant challenge, it was also a rewarding experience that pushed my artistic boundaries.
Throughout the process, I focused on maintaining clear communication with the client, ensuring that each illustration aligned with their vision while infusing my style into the artwork. Ultimately, Vampire Kitty became not just a project, but a journey that enhanced my skills and deepened my passion for illustration. It was a beautiful experience that I’ll always cherish.
