PennyWise is a personal finance app designed to help users track spending, set budgets, and connect bank accounts securely with a clean and trustworthy experience.
Problem
1. Many fintech apps feel overwhelming.
2, Users don’t trust apps that request bank access.
3. Onboarding friction leads to drop-offs.
Goal
1. Build trust within the first 5 seconds.
2. Keep the interface clean and fast.
3. Make connecting a bank feel secure and simple.
4. Design Decisions.
WHY:
Dark mode → premium + security perception
Large CTA buttons → clarity
Bank grid layout → faster recognition
Minimal copy → reduce cognitive load
“Secure connection” indicator → trust signal
