One clean export. A traceable result.

6 rows became 4 active products. 12 text cells were trimmed. Leading-zero SKUs stayed intact.
Independent demonstration with synthetic inventory data. AI-assisted processing, not a paid client engagement.

See the complete before and after

The problem: a product export contained padded names and categories, plus inactive items. The goal was a consistent active-product file for a later import review.

Only the agreed changes

Trim surrounding whitespace in item and category. Keep records whose status is exactly active. Preserve all four columns as strings, the order of retained rows, and SKUs 001, 002, 004 and 006. The comma in Clips, 32 mm remains correctly quoted.

Checked against the source

A separate validator derived the expected output from the original data and rules. All 9 checks passed, covering schema, rows, removal rules, values, types, encoding, change accounting, formula safety and the file hash. A deliberately damaged output was rejected.

What the handoff contains

Original CSV, processed CSV, agreed transformation rules, change report and separate QA report. The source and result are tied to the reports by SHA-256 hashes.

Where this applies

Small CSV exports with explicit cleanup and filtering rules. This example does not demonstrate XLSX formulas, fuzzy matching, inferred corrections, live imports or API integration. No time savings, client acceptance or business uplift are claimed.
