Brand Identity - [Built Environment] 🌎

This project is a masterplan development scheme to regenerate an underused, key location in-between Salford and Manchester City Centre. The scheme is a complex, yet popular project which required an initial brand identity which was then applied to multiple touchpoint.

The project is taking place in a busy city centre location, which has a long heritage of industrialisation and community. The client wanted a brand look which could pair the history of the location with the forward-thinking metropolitan designs of their plans. Another key feature of the project was the delivery of a new public park, which had to be a key feature in the design language of the brand.

I started my design research by focussing on the railway heritage which was heavily featured throughout the local area. Taking the basic shape of a railway line, I merged this into the line work of a leaf which gave me a central logo mark figure to work from. I went on to develop the rest of the identity with clean, modern fonts and botanical elements to present an overall contemporary and easily engage able brand.
