Developing Hike Medical’s New Webflow Website

Hike Medical came to me with a completed design for a new version of its website. My role was focused entirely on Webflow development: turning the approved visual direction into a polished, responsive, and maintainable website.
Although I didn’t create the original design, the project still required a lot of development decisions. I had to make sure the layouts worked across different screen sizes, the content remained easy to understand, and the final build preserved the character and details of the supplied design.

The Challenge

Hike Medical provides custom insoles using scanning technology and 3D printing, but the website needs to speak to several very different audiences.
Employers need to understand the value of preventative musculoskeletal care for their workforce. Clinics need information about the orthotics workflow, while employees and patients need a simpler explanation of how the product works and what they can expect.
Each audience required its own journey, messaging, and calls to action, while the complete website still needed to feel like one connected experience.
The website also contains a large amount of educational content, product information, statistics, company logos, testimonials, and visual explanations. The development challenge was keeping all of this clear and structured without making the pages feel heavy.

Building Separate User Journeys

I developed dedicated experiences for employers, clinics, and employees while maintaining one consistent Webflow system across the website.
Reusable navigation, call-to-action, content, testimonial, and footer components made it possible to keep the different pages visually aligned. At the same time, each audience could have its own content hierarchy and conversion path.
This structure helps visitors quickly identify the information relevant to them instead of forcing everyone through the same generic page.

Development Approach

The original design uses large typography, bright gradients, layered product imagery, curved interface elements, strong blue backgrounds, and content-heavy sections.
Recreating these layouts accurately in Webflow required careful responsive development. Elements that work naturally on a wide desktop screen needed to be reorganized for tablets and mobile devices without losing their visual hierarchy or becoming difficult to read.
My work included:
Development of the complete supplied design in Webflow
Separate responsive pages for employers, clinics, and employees
Reusable components and consistent global styles
Responsive typography and complex section layouts
Interactive product and content sections
Testimonial, statistics, logo, and educational content blocks
Contact and conversion pathways
Performance and accessibility considerations
Cross-browser and responsive quality assurance
I structured the build so repeated sections could be maintained consistently and future content changes would not require rebuilding complete pages.

Translating a Visual Design into a Working Website

One of the most important parts of this project was preserving the energy of the original design while making sure the website remained practical.
The large headlines and layered visuals needed to feel expressive without hurting readability. Animations and interactions needed to support the product story rather than slow down the experience. Content-heavy sections had to remain clear on smaller screens, where there was much less space available.
A lot of the work happened in these details—the spacing between elements, how content stacks, where lines break, how images resize, and how every section transitions between screen sizes.

The Result

The completed Webflow website gives Hike Medical a clear platform for explaining a relatively unfamiliar healthcare product to several different audiences.
Employers, clinics, and employees can each follow a journey designed around their own questions and goals, while the shared design and development system keeps the complete experience consistent.
The final build preserves the supplied visual direction, supports the company’s growing content needs, and gives the Hike team a responsive Webflow website that is easier to maintain and expand.
