If you would rather escape to a tropical paradise filled with rich history, beautiful cultures, delicious food, and gorgeous natural sceneries, this trip to Hawai’i is perfect for you.

From December 10th to December 20th, MockTravelAgency will take a group of 20-30 travelers to explore the wonders of Hawai’i. Our trip will include three of the six major islands of Hawai’i: Oahu, Kaua’i, and the Big Island (also known as the Island of Hawaii). Together, we will visit all the hottest spots, explore the vast traditions, and relax on this heavenly island.

Overview

December 10th: Arrive in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Transfer group to The Kahala Hotel and Resort.

December 11th: Take a private guided tour through Pearl Harbor, visit Waikiki Beach.

December 12th: Hike up the Diamond Head Trail, take a 45-minute helicopter tour around Honolulu, attend luau dinner on Lanikai beach.

December 13th: Half-day turtle and dolphin snorkeling tour, lunch provided.

December 14th: Personal day: enjoy your morning at your own leisure. Prepare to depart for Kaua’i at 4:30 p.m.

December 15th: Secret Falls Kayak Hike.

December 16th: Private guided tour Waimea Canyon (lunch provided), tour Princeville Botanical Gardens with taste testing.

December 17th: Depart for Big Island at 8:00 a.m. Self-guided day. Manta Ray Night Snorkeling through Keauhou Bay.

December 18th: Hike in Volcanoes National Park

December 19th: Private guided tour through Kona Coffee Farm, group dinner at Jackie Ray’s Kailua-Kona.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Honolulu, Hawai’i

After landing at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, you will go to The Kahala Hotel and Resort for check-in at 4:30 pm.

If you arrive earlier than 3:00 pm, you are encouraged to explore Honolulu at your leisure. Before you do, visit The Kahala Hotel and Resort first to drop off your belongings. Show the front desk staff your reservation with MockTravelAgency; they can store your belongings in a locked room away from other guests.

MockTravelAgency will not provide meals on the first day. Please adjust your dining plans accordingly.

About the Hotel

The drive from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport typically takes an estimated 20 minutes, so please plan accordingly. We will meet at the Kahala Hotel and Resort around 4:30 to prepare for check-in at 5:00 pm. The address is 5000 Kahala Avenue, Honolulu, Hawai’i 96816.

Opened in January 1964, the Kahala Hotel and Resort is one of the most notable resorts in Hawai’i. Inspired by Hawai’ian palaces, this resort is the perfect place to reside if you yearn for luxury and paradise.

For your convenience, the Kahala Hotel and Resort offers several amenities and services ready to assist you. These facilities include many restaurants and bars, spa suites, cultural classes (hula classes, scuba classes, and more), room service, and more.

Day 2: Pearl Harbor Tour, (Optional) Waikiki Beach Visit

The Kahala Resort and Hotel will provide a complimentary breakfast at their breakfast buffet.

After breakfast, you will reunite with your group for a day of exploration through the historic monument of Pearl Harbor. Afterward, you may explore and lounge on Waikiki Beach with your tour group (MockTravelAgency will provide an optional bus ride home for those who do not wish to go).

At 8 am, you will join your group in the lobby and ride our bus to Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial. From 9 am to 12 pm, you will be given a private tour of the memorial with a local guide. The tour will include:

A viewing of a Pearl Harbor documentary, including footage of the attacks.

Several stops for exhibits and monuments dedicated to the event.

Several opportunities to purchase souvenirs.

After the tour, our buses will take us from the memorial to our hotels, where we will give you 30 minutes to drop off your souvenirs, change into swimsuits, and tend to personal needs before regrouping for a drive to the beach. We will arrive at Waikiki Beach at approximately 2:00 p.m.

While on the beach, we encourage you to enjoy the beach to its fullest potential. That is why we will bring complimentary games, beach balls, sunscreen, and water for anyone wishing to join us. We also encourage you to bring your own activities and amenities. We will not provide lunch, but we strongly recommend you visit a nearby restaurant or cafe for a unique dining experience.

MockTravelAgency will transport you back to the hotel at 6:00 pm, but if you wish to return any sooner or later, you are welcome to use Honolulu’s public transport systems.

Day 3: Diamond Head Trail, Helicopter Honolulu Tour, Luau Dinner

The Kahala Resort and Hotel will provide a complimentary breakfast at their breakfast buffet.

At 8 am, you will leave for an enchanting and relaxing hike through the Diamond Head Trail. Before leaving, you will receive a complimentary map, two snacks of your choice, and a water bottle. We strongly encourage you to bring more food and drink in addition to what we provide, as there are no refreshment stops on the trails.

At 9 am, the group will separate for a self-guided hike through the summit. Be sure to visit the top of the summit, where you will witness the breathtaking views of the crater floor. We will meet back at the entrance at 12:00 pm.

You will then take the next 2 hours to enjoy lunch at Hideout at the Laylow with the rest of the group. MockTravelAgency will not pay for this meal, so please bring your own funds and gratuities.

At 3:00 p.m, you will leave the restaurant for your private helicopter tours around the city of Honolulu. You will separate into groups of four, find your assigned helicopter, and board at 4:00 pm. After your flight, you will board our buses and depart for our luau dinner.

From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, you will enjoy a luau dinner in Kapolei. Dinner will arrive at 6:30, and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase afterward. MockTravelAgency funds the meal, but we will not fund any additional food, drinks, or gratuities.

Day 4: Half-Day Snorkeling Tour

From 12:00 to 5:00, you will undertake a private snorkeling tour with one of the top snorkeling academies in Hawai'i. You will leave the hotel at 12:00 pm, board the cruise at 1:00, and return to land at 5:00. Bento-style lunches will be provided at 1:30.

This exclusive cruise includes guided snorkeling, kayaking, and other water activities, though all are entirely optional. Snorkeling guides and lifeguards will always supervise your group to ensure your safety. Wetsuits are available for rent for $10.00 per adult. Please get in touch with your tour guide before departure if you wish to rent a wetsuit. MockTravelAgency will take one professional photo of the tour group before departure. You may purchase a separate photoshoot for $79.90 if you wish for your own pictures.

Day 5: Departure for Kaua’i

There are no planned activities for the morning. Please enjoy your last morning in Honolulu at your own leisure.

Please meet at the hotel at 2:30 pm to depart for Kaua’i. Our bus will take you from the hotel to our private airline. We will leave at 4:00 pm and land at 4:30. We will then transport you directly to The Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort and check in at 5:00 pm.

Whenever you are at this resort, you are invited to relax to the fullest.

Day 6: Secret Falls Kayaking and Hiking

At 8 am, you will depart from The Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort and drive to Smith’s Tropical Paradise. From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, you and your group will hike and kayak through Wailua River and Uluwehi Falls with trained professionals. You will receive 1 bottle of water, two snacks of your choice, and kayaking equipment. We strongly encourage you to bring your own food and drink, as well as your own protective clothing.

After the hike, you will stop at the hotel to allow you to change and grab your belongings. Then, you will drive to Mermaids Cafe to enjoy lunch on the coast. Food is not prepaid.

Day 7: Tour Through Princeville Botanical Gardens, Fruit and Chocolate Taste Testing

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be collected from the hotel lobby and board your bus at 8 am. MockTravelAgency will then escort you to Princeville Botanical Gardens, where you will spend the next three hours exploring the natural wonders of Kaua’i.

Princeville Botanical Gardens is a stunning addition to the many wonders of Kaua’i. It is home to nearly 600 different plants, each with its unique exotic flare and tropical beauty. During the tour, you will also attain samples of the garden’s fresh fruit, honey, and gourmet chocolates. The fruit, honey, and chocolates will also be available for purchase after your tour.

Please notify your tour guide if you have any allergies to plants or specific fruits/chocolates.

After exploring the garden, the bus will take you to Porky’s Kauai for lunch before returning to your hotel.

Day 8: Departure for Big Island. Manta Ray Night Snorkeling Through Keauhou Bay

The Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort will provide breakfast. At 8 am, you will be driven from the hotel to Lihue Airport. Your flight will depart at 11 am, and you can expect to arrive at Big Island (Hawai’i) at 12 pm. From then, you and your group will go to Royal Kona Resort for your stay.

You will be given the rest of the day to explore Big Island at your own leisure. At 8 pm, you will regroup in the lobby and travel to Keauhou Bay for a private night snorkeling tour. You will go to the bay on a private cruise ship and snorkel alongside manta rays for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Snorkeling gear is provided. Refreshments, including light snacks and drinks, will also be provided. Go-pro rentals are available upon request; please speak to your tour guide before if you wish to rent one.

Day 9: Hike in Volcanoes National Park

At 8 am, you will board the bus and travel to Volcanoes National Park for a memorable hike. You will be given a complimentary map, two snacks of your choice, and a water bottle. We strongly encourage you to bring more food and drink in addition to what we provide.

We will begin our hike at 10 am. At 2 pm, we will finish the first section and regroup at Ohelo Cafe for lunch. After lunch, you can either return to the hotel or continue hiking in the park.

At 6 pm, any hikers left in the park will regroup at the park entrance and return to the hotel.

Day 10: Private Guided Tour Through Kona Coffee Farm, Group Dinner at Jackie Ray’s Kailua-Kona

Royal Kona Resort will provide a complimentary breakfast at their breakfast buffet.

At 8 am, you will board the bus and attend a private guided tour through Kona Coffee Farm. Here, you will follow the trails of a coffee and chocolate plantation, learn the history of coffee and chocolate production in Hawai'i, receive free samples, and explore the souvenir shop.

After the tour, you will return to your hotel and explore Hawai'i at your own leisure for the rest of the day. At 3 pm, you will meet with your group for a historic dinner cruise through Kealakekua Bay. You will board your private cruise ship at 4:00 pm, and for the next three hours, you will sail along the water and enjoy a 3-course dinner. Additionally, a historian and live performers will recite many famous events from Hawaii's history. One complimentary cocktail is provided; all other drinks must be purchased separately. Gratuities not provided.

Day 11: Departure From Hawai’i.

The bus transporting you from your hotel will be set to depart at 3 different times: 8 am, 10 am, and 12 pm. Please plan your departure accordingly.

After breakfast, you will board the bus of your choice, return to the airport, and fly home. As you watch the islands of Hawai'i fade into the ocean, you will leave the islands feeling relaxed, invigorated, and ready for your next trip to this tropical paradise.
