With new management stepping in, the resort needed to elevate the way its existing brand identity was applied across marketing and guest touchpoints. While the logo and identity remained unchanged, collateral such as menus, flyers, and ads had not been refreshed in years and felt outdated.
OBJECTIVE
Brought in as a yearlong creative retainer, my goal was to elevate the visual identity across every touchpoint — from flyers, ads, and menus to business cards and email campaigns.
CHALLENGE
Updating the official brand identity was considered too large of a change — requiring multiple levels of corporate approval and sign-off. The challenge was to work within the existing brand identity while still modernizing and elevating the property’s creative presence.
RESULTS
The updated creative aligned the property’s image with guest expectations, supported stronger marketing performance, and gave management a design foundation they could confidently build on for years ahead.
Through a strategic mix of engaging copy, cohesive design, data-driven scheduling, and tailored funnels, the email programgenerated seven figures in direct bookings in just 6 months while strengthening the hotel’s direct-to-guest communication.
