Project description.

The property.

Royal Casino & Hotel in Batumi runs five businesses under one roof — casino, hotel, restaurant, spa and night club — and all five live on one site. That is a hierarchy problem before it is a styling problem: a visitor has to know which one they are looking at without stopping to read.

Iconography.

A custom icon for each offering — room, bar, gaming, spa, dining, club — every one drawn inside the same arch. The shared frame makes the set read as one family at a glance, before anyone parses an individual icon.

Palette and hierarchy.

A tightened colour palette and a consistent set of visual patterns replace the dated interface, so each section has one dominant note instead of several competing accents.

Design and build. Both halves were mine on this one — the icon set, the palette and the hierarchy above, and the build that carries them.

Status. Delivered. The site is live at royalbatumi.com.
