About the Project
AVID is a groundbreaking carbon credit investment platform designed to make carbon trading more accessible and transparent for individuals and corporations. Its mission is to empower anyone to invest in carbon offset projects that align with their values—driving impactful climate action while also offering potential financial returns.
The Challenge
While interest in carbon trading continues to grow, most platforms still struggle with:
Complexity – Traditional systems present complicated processes that deter new investors.
Transparency & Trust – Users want to see tangible impact and know their carbon credits are genuine.
Accessibility – Many potential investors are priced out or overwhelmed by complex market barriers.
User Experience – Existing platforms frequently neglect user-centric design, making it difficult to browse, compare, and invest confidently.
AVID set out to demystify carbon trading and open the door to broader participation in climate impact initiatives.
The Solution
I spearheaded the UI/UX and product design to create an intuitive and friendly digital platform that gives everyone—from first-time investors to large corporations—the ability to:
Discover a variety of carbon credit projects aligned with personal or corporate values.
Easily Invest with straightforward purchase flows and clear data visualization of credit performance.
Track Impact through robust dashboards that highlight environmental benefits and potential returns.
To complement the user experience, I collaborated on branding to ensure the platform’s visual identity conveys professionalism, credibility, and environmental commitment.
