cain&abelDDB

The Scenario

In July 2023, cain&abelDDB approached me for freelance cover while their in-house Developer went on his honeymoon. The cover lasted for three weeks and was mainly to build HTML5 display banners for their plethora of clients.

The Relationship

Before becoming a Freelancer, I worked at cain&abelDDB for four years. In those four years, I had worked on several large campaigns for brands like Seat, Volkswagen, PlayStation and Virgin Media.
Given my familiarity with their team and processes, it was a no-brainer for cain&abelDDB to hire me as cover.

The Struggle

My arrival coincided with many ongoing campaigns. That meant I had to bring myself up to speed on each campaign creative and banner code without slowing the production process.

The Results

Over the three weeks, I had no trouble delivering the existing and new digital display campaigns. I worked across several campaigns for brands, including Laithwaites, JetBlue, ESSO and iShares.

At various points in my career, I have worked with cain&abelDDB (now adam&eveDDBStudios). Working with them I have built HTML5 banner ads for some huge brands.
