Project Scope: To design an aesthetically pleasing solution that targets solving seat management challenges for party/event organizers and individual party owners.
Duration: 3 weeks
2. The Challenge
Client’s Pain Points: A couple or event planner wants to minimize wait time per guest at the entrance of the event hall during the check in process but guests have to look for their names on the seating chart typically stationed at the entrance to confirm their seat/table number. Solution is typically approached by printing multiple seating charts which increases the wedding cost for couples.
Goals:
Design a clean, professional, and intuitive solution that simplifies event guest management by allowing organizers/couples to effortlessly upload guest lists, categorize attendees based on relationship levels, and assign seat numbers accordingly. This eliminates the manual hassle of seating arrangements, ensuring a structured and organized event planning process.

3. The Solution
Design Approach: I conducted research by speaking with event organizers and performing a competitive analysis, after which I proceeded to develop the user flow. This involved designing a seamless and intuitive journey for event organizers within the Parseat platform.
Incorporating feedback from event organizers, I refined the workflow to meet their needs, making it more efficient and user-friendly. This process aimed to enhance Parseat’s usability, providing a comprehensive event management solution that streamlines planning and improves the overall experience. Finally, I translated my research into design screens to visually represent the proposed solution more clearly.
