Background

The number of applications for university places has fallen steadily in recent years - also due to fewer people of the relevant age for starting a course. This has been exacerbated by the pandemic. Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is also facing the challenge of counteracting the declining number of new students.
The learning agencies with the working title "University Marketing" aim to develop and implement strategic measures to increase the number of applications and (course-specific) the number of students.

Format

Building on the concept developed during the winter semester 2023/2024, the summer semester 2024 focuses on implementing the proposed measures, assessing their effectiveness, and providing recommendations for future actions. The initial concept included suggestions for optimizing the university's website (erleben.h-da.de), enhancing social media presence, and developing a campaign for the application phase.

Tasks:

1. Harmonization of Existing Content
- Ensuring consistency and alignment of current content across various platforms.
2. Research and Editing of New Content
- Generating and refining new content to engage prospective students.
3. Translation of Wireframes in CMS
- Implementing design wireframes into the Content Management System for better user experience.
4. Creation of Text and Image Content
- Producing compelling text and visual content to support the marketing efforts.
