Goal: Grow email newsletter to advertise launch of online video course
Context: This project was for an online creator pivoting to a coach, as this was their first foray into becoming an online coach. A huge focus was establishing them as an authority in the field before the launch
Problems
Building a newsletter following from scratch to position client as knowledgeable in the field and tease potential value to be gotten from course
Solutions
Created a 6 week content strategy plan for the newsletter and facilitated the move from one newsletter management service to another
Wrote and designed email newsletters
Designed accompanying social media posts to promote newsletter on social media platforms
What did I learn while working on this?
The importance of creating a consistent brand image to establish familiarity with audience and cultivate community
What I will keep in mind for the next project
To constantly update strategy based on analytics
Involve the audience, ask for feedback often!
