The brief was simple: create an explainer video that showed Trainual as more than onboarding software.
The product covers training, processes, internal knowledge, and team enablement, but that broader value was easy to miss.
The challenge
As companies grow, knowledge starts spreading across documents, chats, folders, and people's heads.
Trainual solves that by bringing processes, training, and company knowledge into one structured system.
The explainer needed to make that value obvious without turning into a feature walkthrough.
The approach
I built the story around the problem Trainual removes: scattered knowledge becomes structured knowledge.
That gave the film a clear progression from operational chaos to a system where information can be created, organized, assigned, and tracked.
The real product UI stayed central, supported by 3D scenes, motion design, and transitions that connected the different workflows into one coherent story.
The goal was to make the platform feel simple to understand without flattening what it can actually do.
My role
This project was produced through PING Studio, the creative studio I run.
I managed the engagement from the initial lead and client communication through scope, production, feedback, and final delivery.
I was also responsible for the creative direction, story, storyboard, visual direction, and motion direction, while staying hands-on in the design and animation of key scenes.
The rest of the production was completed with a small team working under my direction.
The result
The final explainer presented Trainual as more than an onboarding tool.
It created a clearer picture of the product as a system for organizing how a company works, learns, and shares knowledge.
SaaS explainer video, combining product storytelling, UI animation, 3D motion design, and visual direction to explain a complex training platform clearly.
