My first dip into the coveted world of travel writing was with Thirty-Six Travel. This small, independently owned brand creates destination guides, itineraries, journals and blog posts for young professionals, focusing on unique locations, culture and responsible, one-of-a-kind tourism.

I have included an example below of a short-form piece I produced for Thirty-Six Travel's blog about Halloween-themed trips within the UK. In addition to writing to tight word counts, I also had the chance to create long-form posts, including 36-hour destination guides and in-depth reviews. I enjoyed the experience of thoroughly researching exciting places and whipping up inspirational written content that was distinctly different from anything I had worked on previously.
