What I brought to it: The brief was minimal, which meant the creative direction was largely mine to define. The instinct was clear from the start: avoid the corporate register entirely and lean into narrative. Not because it was the easier path, but because storytelling was the only approach that would give the film the premium, considered feeling the subject deserved. Airport operations are genuinely compelling if you frame them right. The logistics, the precision, the human coordination behind every departure and arrival. Building a tone that let that complexity breathe, rather than reducing it to a highlight reel of infrastructure, was the central editorial decision. The color work reinforced that, pushing the palette toward something cinematic rather than functional.
