What I brought to it: When the material is strong and the concept is clear, the editor's job shifts. The question is no longer what story to tell, but what to protect and what to let go. Under 60 seconds meant real sacrifices, and every cut was a decision about what the film could afford to lose without losing itself. The moments that needed to breathe had to be identified and defended. The scenes that could be compressed had to be reduced without breaking the rhythm. Where I take the most pride on this piece is in how the structure held through the client feedback process. Comments came, adjustments were made, but the crescendo and the emotional final beat remained intact throughout. Flexibility without compromise is its own editorial discipline.
