Hi everyone! I started 2023 with a clear mind and goals for what I want to achieve this year, especially with my social media platforms and website. However, after profoundly analyzing martinamanc.com's IG account, I realized I wasn't adding value to my content. They were mainly inspirational and with a weak connection to the website. So, I arranged a total Instagram rebranding.
The main goals for this rebranding focus on building an engaged community (followers and engagement rate), communicating the brand, the multiple opportunities you can find on the website, and driving traffic.
I recently discovered the strategy 50/30/20, which consists of 50% of the posts or content about your main niche, 30% of the content about your secondary topic, and 20% about your personality. For example, you can see it on Leonie Hanne, one of the most influential content creators. Her main niche is luxury fashion, but she's also a content producer and has a strong personality. She built around these pillars a terrific branding strategy.
So, I started brainstorming the feed I wanted to achieve for my website's IG account. I used Pinterest and screenshotted some feeds I admire. As you can see, I want an aesthetic feed with added value and recognizable branding.
Then, I created the moodboard using the vision board already uploaded on my website. From this image, I used Coolors to generate the color palette for the IG feed. Finally, I used the website fonts for the texts. These three steps make a cohesive communication between the website and the IG feed, which is more recognizable and on brand.
And this is the final look of the feed. 5 out of 9 posts are about the blog area of the website (50%), 3 are about being a branding strategist with my series Content Creation 101 (30%), and 2 (20%) are about inspirational and personal content.

I started posting on IG with this scheme on January 20th. In 90 days the number of followers improved by 4,8%, the interactions improved by 100%. Also, I reached my target audience (25-34 yo from USA, Canada, and other people who understands English), and 94% of them were not followers. Clicks on the link in bio improved by 30%, and 46,8% more people visited the profile.
As the results show, this new strategy is perfect to spread the word around martinamanca.com, which is crucial to drive traffic to the website and start building a community.
