Contra reached out to show beautiful places around Milan where everyone can hang out to chill after a busy work week. They are perfect to have a break, but also find new inspiration for content creation! The takeover is on Contra IG highlights.
The BTS
When Contra reached out to me for the IG takeover, I started thinking about what type of value I could bring to the Contra community. Once I moved here to Milan, one of my first needs was finding "the places of my heart", some locations where I was sure I could recharge and chill. And that's how the idea came up to my mind.
Then, I made a list of the main places I wanted to film.
Before heading out for the actual shooting, I wrote a script for the voiceover. Contra gave me a specific time to stick to, and I needed to make the most out of it.
Once the script was ready, my boyfriend and I planned a day in our week to shoot and edit. Saturday was the best for both. I asked him to document the BTS, and I filmed of the intro and the outro in a quiet place because I wanted to be on camera and talk directly to the community. The other framings are short and edited, and I did a voiceover to tell more about them.
The editing process
I edited everything on CapCut. The process went super smoothly because I had the script ready, so I already knew the layout and what I wanted to say. In about an hour, the clips were ready for Contra approval.
