TrueMile — Profit & Reserve App for Owner-Operators

TrueMile is a mobile-first PWA I designed and built for owner-operator truckers — the drivers who own their rig and live or die by whether each load actually makes money.
The problem: brokers quote a gross rate per mile, but gross RPM lies. After fuel, the truck note, insurance, permits, and the repairs that are coming whether you plan for them or not, a load that looks good can quietly lose money. Most owner-operators run that math in their head, or not at all.
What it does:
Computes your true cost per mile — fixed costs, fuel, and a per-mile repair reserve — from your own numbers.
Gives every load an instant green / yellow / red verdict with the real net-per-total-mile (deadhead included), before you book it.
Builds a repair reserve automatically as you run miles, so a breakdown never blindsides you.
Works offline — the verdict computes right in the cab with no signal; saved loads sync when you're back online.
How it's built: Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript, Supabase (Postgres + Auth + row-level security), and an installable PWA with a service worker and offline save-queue. A fully tested pure-logic "economics brain" powers every number, and login is a passwordless emailed code — no password to forget in a truck stop.
Live and in real use by an owner-operator.

A live, offline-capable PWA that gives truck owner-operators an honest green/yellow/red verdict on every load — computing true cost-per-mile with a repair reserve baked in, so they know real profit before they book. Built in Next.js + Supabase, in real use by an owner-operator.
