Building a Next Gen Analytics Platform for Marketing Pros

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Changing the game in Facebook ad tracking for Shopify

We partnered with Cometly’s founders to establish a cohesive design system and craft the user experience essential to their product’s success. Over three months, we collaborated closely to refine design patterns, layouts, navigation, and user flows for the app’s core use cases.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

❌ A Need for Better Ad Tracking

Grant and Matt, the founders of Cometly, saw there was a need for better ad tracking for Facebook ads, so they came up with a solution and needed a top notch design in order to onboard their clients to their platform.

SOLUTION

Smarter Ad Tracking Through Thoughtful Design

We worked with their development team and the founders in order to get the entire flow of the application down. We then dove in and worked on the best navigation system that we could implement that allowed them to properly organize all pages within their system.

This included ad tracking per campaign, ad set and individual ads. Users are also able to completely track the breakdown of ad performance on a daily basis, drilling into each ad provides a good amount of data for better evaluation of which ads are working and which ones are not.

The last piece that we worked on was more product related; designing billing and account information and how to integrate all your tools with the Cometly product.

We collaborated with the Cometly team for 3 months, working through design patterns, layout, navigation and user flows to launch the next generation of ad management.

CONCLUSION

A Long-Term Design Partnership Powering Cometly’s Growth

After three months of intensive product collaboration, we transitioned into a long-term support role—providing ongoing product design services as new features and workflows emerged. We also partnered with the Cometly team to design their upcoming mobile app, aimed at bringing their powerful ad tracking tools to users on the go.
